A little History

MONOÏ DE TAHITI, A POLYNESIAN BEAUTY OIL...
Monoï de Tahiti is a macerate of Tiare flowers (Gardenia tahitensis) obtained by enfleurage in copra oil. The designation of origin "Monoï de Tahiti" is reserved for the product manufactured in French Polynesia in accordance with local, loyal and constant customs, by maceration of Gardenia taitensis flowers (Candolle flora, Rubiaceae family) of Polynesian origin, called Tiare, in refined Copra oil.

The Tiare flowers and coconuts used for the manufacture of the product must be exclusively harvested in harvesting areas located on coral soils. This refined oil is obtained by hot pressing the almond extracted from the nuts, dried for at least one week in the sun. Tiaré Tahiti, symbol of French Polynesia, is cultivated in isolated regions and must be used at the latest the day after its harvest. The climatic conditions and the quality of the soil contribute to the exceptional character of this oily extract.

Monoï de Tahiti, a natural beauty product, allows you to benefit from all the virtues of Tiaré. Used in traditional cosmetology, but also in the Polynesian Pharmacopoeia, it relieves migraines, headaches, styes, and mosquito bites...
