Once cooled, the essential oil naturally separates and rises to the surface, while the aromatic water underneath is the hydrosol. This hydrosol is pure spring water enriched with the plant’s own active compounds - like a delicate imprint of the whole plant.The distillation process is slow and careful, allowing the hydrosol to gather all the lighter and heavier aromatic notes so that it becomes a complete, true reflection of the plant. • Typical Duration: Once opened and kept in the refrigerator, a hydrosol will generally keep well for 6 to 12 months. Some delicate hydrosols may start to lose their freshness earlier, while more stable ones (like Rose or Lavender) often last toward the longer end.
  
• Storage Conditions: Always store in the refrigerator, tightly closed, away from light and heat. Avoid touching the inside of the cap or bottle opening to prevent contamination.
