Support for Women’s Cycles, Digestion & Kidney Well-Being

Our Organic Mugwort capsules offer a traditional plant ally known for its balancing, comforting and revitalising qualities. Each capsule contains pure, organic Artemisia vulgaris leaf powder – nothing added, nothing diluted – making this a potent and natural choice for daily well-being.

Menstrual Comfort

Mugwort has been used for generations to support women before and during their menstrual cycle. It helps maintain comfort throughout the month and is gentle enough for teenagers. The capsules are easy to swallow, and for a harmonious synergy, you can combine them with our Organic Sage food supplement.

Natural Appetite Support

Organic Mugwort helps restore taste and stimulate appetite. It can be a valuable companion for anyone struggling to gain weight or experiencing a decline in appetite. It is also appreciated by athletes seeking natural digestive support while working on muscle development.

Kidney & Prostate Well-Being

Beyond its benefits for digestion and appetite, mugwort contributes to maintaining healthy kidney and prostate function. For even more targeted support, it pairs beautifully with our Organic Prostate Complex made from pumpkin seeds, nettle, and boldo.

High-Dose, Pure & Organic

Each capsule contains 500 mg of organic mugwort powder, providing 1500 mg per daily intake. The plant is used in its purest form for optimal absorption and effectiveness. No additives, no fillers – simply the whole plant, organically grown.

Made in France

Our supplements are produced in France to ensure traceability, safety, and quality. The mugwort is encapsulated in 100% plant-based capsules instead of tablets, avoiding controversial substances like talc, stearate, or magnesium carbonate.
Certified organic, HACCP+, and AFNOR, our capsules are free from GMOs, additives, pesticides, and gluten, and each batch is laboratory tested.

More information

Teenagers – Building Body Awareness

This phase is often about understanding the rhythm of the body for the first time.
A warm herbal infusion can make a world of difference. Mugwort, raspberry leaf, or chamomile are particularly supportive. A gentle massage over the lower belly with a carrier oil blended with a few drops of lavender or geranium helps ease tension and encourages relaxation. Teenagers also benefit greatly from light movement – stretching, gentle yoga, or a short walk helps the body process discomfort.

Women in Their 20s – Supporting Energy and Balance

Cycles can be influenced by stress, lifestyle, and irregular rhythms in this age group. Nourishing the nervous system is key. Magnesium-rich foods, warm meals, and herbs like mugwort or sage help maintain comfort before and during the period. Essential oils such as clary sage, ylang ylang, or marjoram in a warm compress over the abdomen provide a soothing release. Regular hydration and steady meals keep energy stable.

Women in Their 30s – Restoring After Busy Days

Many women juggle work, family, and personal goals at this stage. The body often sends clearer signals that it needs rest. Warm baths with essential oils such as lavender, roman chamomile, or sweet marjoram calm the system and ease muscular tension. Hydrosols like rose or neroli misted directly onto the abdomen provide a soft, comforting sensation. Mugwort capsules can be especially helpful for women who feel more intensity just before the cycle starts.

Women in Their 40s – Navigating Hormonal Shifts

Hormonal changes begin to show, and cycles can feel different from before. Supporting the liver and digestion becomes essential, as these systems help the body handle hormonal fluctuations. Bitters like mugwort, rosemary, or artichoke can be beneficial. Warm self-massage using a blend of geranium, clary sage, and a nourishing carrier oil brings comfort. Many women find that grounding practices – breathwork, meditation, slower movement – help release tension and ease emotional sensitivity around the cycle.

Women in Perimenopause – Comfort During Transition

Cycles may lengthen, shorten, or feel unpredictable. This is a time for deeper nourishment. Herbs such as sage, mugwort, and motherwort bring a sense of balance and comfort. A warming abdominal oil blend with clary sage, geranium, and a touch of ginger helps support circulation. Sleep becomes even more important; evening rituals with lavender hydrosol, herbal teas, and gentle stretching prepare the body for rest.

A little history

Mugwort carries a wonderfully winding history, stretching across cultures like a plant that keeps reseeding itself wherever people need it. Even before written records, it was part of the human toolkit – a plant woven into ritual, healing, cooking, and daily life.

In traditional European herbalism, mugwort was known as a protector and guide. It was often placed under pillows to encourage vivid dreams and deeper intuition. Medieval midwives used it to support women’s cycles and ease discomfort before and during menstruation. The plant’s warming, gently stimulating nature made it valuable for digestion and appetite as well.

In Asia, especially in China, Korea, and Japan, mugwort (often a close relative such as Artemisia argyi) became central to moxibustion – the practice of burning the dried plant near acupuncture points to encourage circulation and restore balance. This use is still part of traditional medicine today.

Roman travellers and soldiers reportedly carried mugwort in their sandals to soothe tired feet on long marches. It grew wild along roadsides, always close at hand. For cooks, it was a seasoning herb before the widespread use of hops in beer; mugwort gave both flavour and digestive comfort to food and drink.

What’s striking is how consistently people across continents reached for this plant to support the same aspects of well-being: women’s cycles, digestion, appetite, circulation, and overall vitality. Its story is a reminder of how closely humans have observed and partnered with the plants around them.
