Macadamia Organic Vegetable Oil – 100% Pure & Natural

Experience the nourishing benefits of our 100% pure and natural virgin Macadamia Vegetable Oil, obtained through gentle mechanical cold pressing and filtration of Macadamia Ternifolia nuts from Kenya.

Rich in palmitoleic acid, a rare and precious monounsaturated fatty acid, this oil deeply nourishes and protects the skin while helping to maintain its elasticity. Naturally abundant in phytosterols and antioxidants, Macadamia oil is known for its regenerative, soothing, and softening properties, making it ideal for skincare, haircare, and massage applications.

With its light, nutty aroma, and silky texture, this oil is often compared to Sweet Almond Oil but absorbs more quickly, leaving no greasy residue. Thanks to its exceptional composition, it is suitable for dry, mature, and sensitive skin, helping to restore the skin's natural barrier.

Macadamia oil is also edible and can be used in food preparation. Its delicate taste and high oxidative stability make it a great choice for salad dressings, drizzling over vegetables, or adding a subtle nutty flavor to dishes.

A little History

The History of Macadamia Oil
Macadamia oil comes from the macadamia nut, which originates in Australia. The macadamia tree (Macadamia integrifolia and Macadamia ternifolia) is native to the rainforests of Queensland and New South Wales, where it has been a staple food for Indigenous Australian communities for thousands of years. The nut was traditionally eaten raw or roasted, valued for its high oil content and nutritional benefits.

🌍 From Discovery to Global Recognition
📜 1828 – The macadamia tree was first recorded by European botanists Allan Cunningham and later named after Scottish-Australian chemist John Macadam in 1857.

🌴 1880s-1900s – Macadamia nuts were introduced to Hawaii, where they were commercially cultivated and became a global crop.

💄 20th Century – Macadamia oil gained popularity not only as a gourmet ingredient but also in cosmetics and skincare, due to its high content of palmitoleic acid, a rare fatty acid beneficial for skin and hair.

🌱 Today – While Australia remains a major producer, macadamia trees are also grown in Kenya, South Africa, Hawaii, and Central/South America. The oil is widely used in the beauty, food, and pharmaceutical industries, valued for its nourishing, anti-aging, and healing properties.

The unique composition of Macadamia Oil, particularly its resemblance to human sebum, makes it a highly sought-after natural ingredient in skincare and haircare, with a rich history rooted in both Indigenous traditions and modern wellness practices.
