Powerful Adaptogenic Support for Energy, Stress and Vitality

Our hydroalcoholic extract of Eleutherococcus senticosus, also known as Siberian Ginseng, is made from certified organic roots using a cold percolation extraction method. This process preserves the full spectrum of active compounds and creates a highly concentrated extract.

Used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine, Eleutherococcus is valued for its ability to support resilience, endurance and long-term vitality. It became widely known during the Soviet era, where it was used to enhance physical and mental performance under extreme conditions.

Key Benefits

Improves resistance to stress
Eleutherococcus supports the body’s ability to adapt to physical, mental and emotional stress. It helps regulate the stress response and supports the nervous system. Chronic stress is one of the main causes of fatigue and imbalance in the body

Supports energy and vitality
Provides steady, natural energy without overstimulation. Particularly useful in cases of fatigue, low motivation and burnout. Plants such as Eleutherococcus are traditionally used to restore vitality in weakened states

Strengthens the immune system
Helps stimulate immune function and supports the body’s natural defenses. Medicinal plants like Eleutherococcus are known to activate immune cells and improve resistance

Supports cognitive performance
Helps improve focus, memory and mental clarity. Ideal during periods of high mental demand or prolonged stress

Adaptitude uses traditional hydroalcoholic extraction methods, combined with gentle modern techniques such as cold percolation and ultrasound extraction when needed. This allows them to capture a broad spectrum of active plant compounds while preserving the integrity of the raw material.

A little history

🌿Origin and Traditional Use

Eleutherococcus senticosus is native to Siberia, Northern China, Korea, and Japan.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it has been used for centuries as a tonic herb to strengthen Qi, particularly for:

- Fatigue and weakness
- Recovery after illness
- Supporting longevity
- Strengthening resistance to stress

Unlike Panax ginseng, it was more commonly used among the general population rather than reserved for elites.

🌿The Name “Siberian Ginseng”

Eleutherococcus is not a true ginseng (Panax species), but it was given the name “Siberian Ginseng” in the 20th century because of its similar effects:

- Increased endurance
- Improved resilience
- Support for vitality

However, its active compounds are different (eleutherosides instead of ginsenosides).

🌿Soviet Research and Performance Use

This is where Eleutherococcus becomes unique.

During the 1950s–1980s, Soviet scientists extensively studied it as part of their research on performance and resilience.

It was used by:

- Olympic athletes
- Military personnel
- Cosmonauts

The goal was to:

- Increase physical endurance
- Improve mental performance
- Enhance adaptation to extreme conditions (cold, fatigue, stress, even space travel)

This is one of the earliest large-scale scientific investigations into adaptogens.

🌿Adaptogen Concept

Eleutherococcus became one of the key plants that helped define the concept of adaptogens:

A substance that:
- Increases resistance to stress
- Normalizes body functions
- Supports balance without overstimulation

This fits perfectly with its traditional use.

🌿Modern Use

Today, Eleutherococcus is recognized as:

- A nervous system and adrenal support herb
- A fatigue and burnout remedy
- A resilience and performance tonic

It is especially used when someone is:

- Chronically stressed
- Physically or mentally depleted
- Recovering from illness or overwork
- The Real Identity

Eleutherococcus is not about quick energy.

It is about:
- Rebuilding strength
- Improving adaptation
- Restoring long-term resilience
