Red Clover Fresh Extract

Trifolium pratense

Red Clover, also known as Meadow Clover, is a plant traditionally used to support women during periods of hormonal transition such as perimenopause and menopause.

Naturally rich in phytoestrogens, Red Clover is often associated with support for:

  • Hot flashes and night sweats
  • Emotional and hormonal fluctuations
  • Irritability and fatigue
  • Breast tenderness
  • Skin and tissue comfort during estrogen decline
  • Female vitality during menopause
  • Bone and cardiovascular well-being

Traditionally, Red Clover has also been valued for supporting circulation and helping maintain the elasticity and integrity of blood vessels.

This fresh plant extract is made from organically grown, freshly harvested Red Clover plants, carefully processed immediately after harvest to preserve the plant’s full spectrum of active compounds.

More information

Botanical Name: Trifolium pratense
Origin: France
Extraction Method: Fresh plant maceration carried out directly at the harvesting site.

Usage tips

Adults: Take 15 drops morning and evening, either directly under the tongue or diluted in a small amount of low-mineral water. Preferably take between meals.

A 3-week course is generally recommended and may be repeated after a one-week break if needed. For long-term hormonal support, many practitioners recommend using the extract for at least 2 months.

Even if symptoms improve quickly, continuing the full course may help support long-term hormonal balance and overall wellbeing.

Quality

At Herbiolys, quality begins in nature and is preserved at every stage of production.

Carefully Selected, Fully Traceable Herbs
All plants are harvested by accredited producer-pickers, ensuring complete traceability from the field to the finished product. This direct relationship with the harvesters guarantees transparency, integrity, and respect for the plant.

Organic Plants from Protected Natural Areas
The organic herbs are primarily sourced from preserved natural environments, far from pollution and environmental contamination. For protected or rarer species, certified organic cultivation is used to safeguard biodiversity.

Ethical and Responsible Harvesting
Harvesting is carried out in accordance with the SIMPLES Syndicate Charter and organic farming standards. Great care is taken to protect plant populations and maintain ecological balance at each harvesting site. Respect for nature is not an option - it is a principle.

Immediate On-Site Maceration
To preserve the full vitality of the plant, maceration takes place immediately at the harvest location. This prevents oxidation and enzyme degradation while protecting chlorophyll and the plant’s naturally occurring active compounds. The result is a vibrant extract that reflects both the essence of the plant and the energy of its natural habitat.

Glass Storage from Start to Finish
All macerations are prepared and stored exclusively in glass demijohns and bottles from harvest through to the finished product. This ensures purity and stability without unwanted interactions.

Hand-Dynamized Extracts
During the final packaging stage, each extract is dynamized by hand. This traditional process enhances dispersion and assimilation of the plant’s active compounds while supporting the energetic quality of the preparation.

A Rigorous, Artisan Protocol
From harvesting to labeling, every step is carried out with precision and care. This strict production protocol ensures exceptional quality, purity, and effectiveness in every bottle.

A little history

Red Clover (Trifolium pratense) has been valued for centuries in traditional European herbalism as a nourishing and restorative plant, particularly associated with women’s wellbeing and vitality. Growing naturally in meadows and open fields throughout Europe, it became deeply connected with fertility, renewal, and the rhythms of nature.

Traditionally, Red Clover was prepared as infusions, tonics, and fresh extracts to support periods of physical depletion, hormonal transition, skin discomfort, and general fatigue. In folk herbal traditions, it was often considered a cleansing and strengthening herb used to promote balance, circulation, and overall wellbeing.

Because Red Clover naturally contains isoflavones - plant compounds known today as phytoestrogens - it later became especially associated with perimenopause and menopause support. It has long been traditionally used to support women experiencing hot flashes, night sweats, emotional fluctuations, and tissue changes linked to hormonal transition.

Beyond women’s herbalism, Red Clover was also valued as a regenerative meadow plant. Farmers appreciated its ability to restore and enrich the soil naturally, reinforcing its traditional symbolism of nourishment, vitality, and renewal.

Today, Red Clover remains one of the most respected botanical allies traditionally used to support women during hormonal transitions and menopause.
