Traditional herbal use:

Traditionally, lemon peel has been enjoyed as a warm infusion to help soothe irritation of the throat, pharynx and vocal cords. It is especially appreciated during seasonal changes when a comforting herbal drink is welcome.

Use approximately 14–18 g per litre of water (around 4–5 tablespoons daily, according to taste).

Heat fresh drinking water to 80°C.
Pour 150–250 ml over the lemon peel.
Cover and allow to infuse for 5–10 minutes.
Stir occasionally during infusion.
Strain before drinking.

Adjust the strength according to your personal taste.
