Natural Whitening & Stain Removal for Laundry and Home Cleaning

Your Eco-Friendly Laundry Brightener

Sodium percarbonate, also known as solid hydrogen peroxide, is a powerful natural whitening agent and stain remover. Ideal for reviving dull, yellowed, or grey laundry, it restores brightness to whites and tackles even the most stubborn stains - without chlorine or synthetic optical brighteners.

Multi-Purpose Natural Cleaning

Beyond laundry, sodium percarbonate is a highly effective cleaner and degreaser for general household maintenance. Once dissolved in water (from 40°C), it releases hydrogen peroxide and soda - two natural components derived from water, salt, and chalk - offering deep-cleaning action that’s tough on grime but gentle on the environment.

Why Choose Our Ecological Sodium Percarbonate?

  • 100% biodegradable and chlorine-free

  • Made from simple raw materials: water, salt, and chalk

  • Ideal for laundry, bathroom cleaning, grout whitening, bin deodorising, and more

  • Safe for septic tanks and greywater systems

  • Packaged in a recyclable kraft paper bag

  • Sodium percarbonate gives you up to 3× more washes than most commercial brands from the same weight.

  • It’s multi-use (not just detergent), making it more cost-effective.

Usage tips

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate directly into the washing machine drum to naturally whiten whites and remove coloured stains. For best results, run the wash cycle at a minimum of 40°C - ideally at 60°C.

For stubborn stains, pre-soak garments in a basin of very hot water with 2 tablespoons of percarbonate before washing as usual.

🫧 Laundry & Household Cleaning
Natural Whitening & Stain Removal for Laundry
Sodium percarbonate is a highly effective, eco-friendly ingredient that releases hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate when dissolved in water. The sodium carbonate helps soften the water and boost the cleaning power of your detergent, while hydrogen peroxide acts as a natural bleach to lift stains and restore whiteness.

For optimal results, use in water that’s at least 40°C - and ideally 60°C - to activate its full whitening potential.

Washing machine (4–5 kg load):

Whites: Add 1 to 2 tablespoons directly into the drum

Coloured stains: Add 2 tablespoons

Delicate colours (always test first): Add 1 tablespoon

Pre-soak method:
Dissolve 2 to 3 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate in 3 litres of very hot water. Soak garments for several hours before machine washing as usual. Safe for both white and colourfast fabrics.

Perfect for tackling tough stains like lipstick, sweat, perfume, ink, mud, grass, grease, urine, and pet-related accidents. Especially useful on:

- Cloth nappies
- Washable menstrual pads
- Bed linens
- White socks and towels
- Tea towels and kitchen cloths
- Soft furnishings (cushion covers, rugs, etc.)

Always spot-test delicate fibres such as wool, silk, or leather before use.

Deep Cleaning Tip: Tea Towels
Bring old tea towels back to life by soaking them in very hot water (60°C) with 3 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate per 10 litres of water. Leave overnight, then wash as normal.

How to Make a Diluted Cleaning Solution
Need a versatile stain-fighting spray?
Mix 1 tablespoon of sodium percarbonate in 1 litre of hot water (around 50°C). Use within 6 hours for maximum effectiveness.

This solution works beautifully on washable surfaces and fabrics - just adjust the amount to suit your cleaning needs.
