PRECAUTIONS

Breastfeeding: Ginevítex® is not recommended during breastfeeding. The manufacturer advises against use while breastfeeding until further research is available.

Hormonal contraceptives: Ginevítex® is not compatible with hormonal contraceptives, including birth control pills and contraceptive implants.

Dopamine agonists and antagonists: Ginevítex® is not compatible with dopamine agonists or dopamine antagonists. According to the manufacturer, concomitant use may interfere with their effects.

Pituitary tumour: If you have a pituitary tumour, consult your healthcare professional before using Ginevítex®.

Thyroid medication: If you take thyroid medication on an empty stomach, the manufacturer recommends taking Ginevítex® at midday and/or in the evening instead. Consult your healthcare professional for individual guidance.

Vitex agnus-castus is generally well tolerated and, according to the manufacturer, can be used over a prolonged period.

Reported side effects are rare (less than 2% of users), generally mild and reversible after discontinuation.
