The primary difference between Rosmarinus officinalis and Rosmarinus officinalis Verbenone is in their chemical makeup and the resulting effects. Rosmarinus officinalis is more stimulating and invigorating, suitable for cognitive enhancement and hair care, while Rosmarinus officinalis Verbenone is gentler, making it ideal for sensitive skin, respiratory support, and emotional balance.

Usage tips

Stress-reducing
Use Rosemary essential oil in your diffuser when you need focus and concentration. It is stress-reducing and can get you through stressful work or exam periods.

General aches and pains
Rosemary has excellent analgesic properties. Mix 5 drops of rosemary oil in 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil, and add to a warm bath.

Acne
Rosemary oil helps to clear congested skin and eases any inflammation. Mix 4 drops of rosemary oil with 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil, and massage on your face and neck.

Arthritis
Mix 4 drops of rosemary oil with 1 teaspoon of carrier oil, and massage the affected area to relieve the pain.

Bell's Palsy
As a brain stimulant rosemary oil helps to stimulate the nerve endings. Mix 2 drops of the oil with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage on the front and back of the neck, and forehead.

Cellulite
To help break up fat deposits and stimulate circulation, mix 6 drops of rosemary oil with 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil. Massage on the affected area.

Fluid retention
As an effective diuretic oil, rosemary is excellent to use to treat fluid retention. Add 6-8 drops with 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil, and massage on the affected area. Always make sure you massage upwards towards the heart.

Hair growth
Rosemary promotes hair growth because it increases circulation to the scalp. Mix 8 drops of rosemary oil with 1 tablespoon (15ml) of extra virgin olive oil, and thoroughly massage into the scalp. Leave for 30 minutes and then rinse.

Memory loss
Diffuse 5 drops of rosemary oil to stimulate the brain and help improve memory.

PMS
Suffering from low moods or irritability? Diffuse 5 drops of rosemary oil, and feel the uplifting aroma fill the room.

Sinusitis
Add 3 drops to steam inhalation, and breathe deeply for 2-3 minutes to clear congestion in the nasal passageways. Or diffuse 5 drops of the oil.

Puffiness
If you wake up with a puffy face, rosemary oil helps reduce any puffiness or swelling of the skin. Mix 4 drops of the oil with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage on affected area.

Use: Food flavoring (FEMA n°: 2992 / CoE n°: 406n)
Food dosage : 1 drop in a dish for 5 people (never exceed 2%)

Always use essential oil diluted in a suitable medium (example: vegetable oil, honey, etc.)

Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and emulsions (creams).

Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case you must add 4 times more solubol than essential oil).

Precautions for use

GRAS status.
Always use diluted in vegetable oil or other suitable medium. Rosemary camphor oil can cause an allergy and is irritating, which is why it should never be used pure but in a vegetable oil.

Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, in children under 7 years of age, or in people with epilepsy, asthma or allergies to any of its components.

Consult a specialist for any other indications.

Precautions for Pets:
If your pet is epileptic or has seizures, avoid these oils: rosemary, fennel, sage, camphor, eucalyptus, basil, wintergreen, and the blends that contain these oils.

If your pet has a clotting or bleeding disorder, or if they take an anticoagulant, avoid these oils. This also goes for these oils: Wintergreen, Blue Tansy, Birch, Cassia, Cinnamon, Clove, Fennel, Marjoram, Oregano, Patchouli, and Thyme.

If your pet is on an anti-diabetic drug, avoid these oils unless carefully monitoring blood glucose: Cassia, Cinnamon, Dill, Fennel, Lemongrass, Marjoram, Melissa, Myrrh, and Oregano.

If your pet is pregnant, avoid these oils: Arborvitae, Basil, Birch, Cassia, Cinnamon, Rosemary, Thyme, and Wintergreen.
