Diffuser Safe Essential Oils for Cats
If you have a cat in the house, you would probably know which Essential Oils are safe to diffuse around your cat. It is important to allow your cat to roam freely with an open door to the room. Keep your diffuser in a safe area where your cat cannot knock it over.
Use a water diffuser (UltraSonic), and only use Essential Oils that is organic and has food grade . Because many essential oils are adulterated with chemicals, which are very toxic to pets.
Always observe your cats behavior's when diffusing a new Essential Oil.
Oils NOT to diffuse around cats: Tea tree, Cassia, Cinnamon, Clove, Juniper berry, Oregano, Thyme, Peppermint, Spearmint, Birch, Yarrow, and Wintergreen.
Oils to avoid in general with cats: Aniseed, Citrus oils (Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Orange, Tangerine), Birch, Tea tree, Peppermint, Thyme, Spearmint, Cinnamon, Clove, Juniper berry, Oregano, Yarrow, and Wintergreen.
