What Are Soda Crystals?

Soda crystals are composed of sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), a naturally occurring alkaline mineral salt that has been used for household cleaning for generations.

When dissolved in water, soda crystals create an alkaline solution that helps break down grease, lift dirt, soften water, and enhance the cleaning action of soaps and detergents.

Multi-Purpose Household Cleaner

Dissolve 1 tablespoon of soda crystals in 1 litre of hot water for cleaning kitchen surfaces, furniture, tiles, bathrooms, and washable walls.

Laundry Booster

Add approximately 3 tablespoons dissolved in hot water to the washing machine detergent compartment to improve cleaning performance and help reduce limescale buildup.

Drain Maintenance

Pour 1 tablespoon of soda crystals into the drain followed by hot water to help dissolve grease deposits and maintain clean pipes.

Burnt Pots and Pans

Cover the bottom of the pan with soda crystals, add water, and leave overnight before washing as normal.

Refrigerator Cleaning

Dissolve 1 tablespoon in 1 litre of hot water. Wash surfaces and wipe afterwards with diluted white vinegar.

Wallpaper Removal

Mix 2–3 tablespoons in a bucket of warm water. Apply generously to wallpaper and allow it to soak before removal.

Outdoor Cleaning

Use on terraces, garden furniture, and other washable outdoor surfaces to help remove dirt and accumulated grime.
