Guidelines for Using the Lilia Diffuser:
- Essential Oil Quality: Only utilize 100% pure, natural essential oils for safe and effective diffusion.
- Avoid Thick Oils: Oils like vetiver, amyris, and patchouli may cause clogging. Clean the mist outlet with a cotton bud dipped in alcohol if necessary. For diffusion, consider blending these thicker oils with lighter ones such as orange or lemon.
Recommended Uses: Stick to essential oils and blends that are safe for air diffusion.
Maintaining Your Lilia Diffuser:
- Cleaning Process: Use a cotton bud moistened with alcohol to gently clean the metallic disc's exterior. If needed, add 3 or 4 drops of alcohol or a cleaning solution to the tank and begin diffusion.
-
Avoid Detergents: Do not clean your diffuser with detergent.
Safety Precautions with the Lilia Diffuser:
- Use Around Vulnerable Groups: Do not use the diffuser near children under 3 years old or pregnant women.
- In children's rooms, activate the diffuser only in their absence and ensure it's done at least 30 minutes before they return.
To look after your diffuser, monthly cleaning is ideal. Unplug the device. Use pharmaceutical alcohol or vinegar, heat it to between 40 and 50°C and place it in the water tank. Let the alcohol /vinegar steep for 10 minutes.
Remove the alcohol/vinegar and clean with a cotton swab moistened with this alcohol/vinegar. Do not bother too much with cleaning the membrane, which cleans itself as it vibrates. Rinse with lukewarm water, and wipe a little, without going to the bottom of the tank.
If your diffuser is covered in limescale, use vinegar. Heat the vinegar to 40-50°C and place in the reservoir. Do not switch on the appliance, but leave it to steep for 10 to 15 minutes; remove the liquid and perform a conventional cleaning operation.
