Wintergreen Essential Oil (Gaultheria fragrantissima) is a 100% pure and natural oil obtained through steam distillation of the leaves. Known for its high concentration of methyl salicylate (around 99%), this oil is widely recognized for its powerful soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a favorite for massage blends and topical applications aimed at relieving muscle and joint discomfort. The oil’s extraction involves soaking the leaves in hot water to release methyl salicylate through enzymatic fermentation, giving Wintergreen its distinctive, refreshing, and medicinal aroma.

Also referred to as Canada tea or wood tea, Wintergreen's crisp, minty scent revitalizes the body and mind, providing a sense of clarity and comfort. Whether used to support post-activity recovery or promote relaxation, Wintergreen is perfect for diffuser blends and massage oils, delivering relief and renewal.
