Carrier Oils

Dilution of essential oils is the key to using essential oils correctly and safely. We dilute because we want to use the correct amount of essential oils for the problem we want to solve or the issue we want to alleviate. Always dilute essential oils, in this way you can avoid unintended consequences such as sensitization or burns.

You want to choose carrier oils that you like and that suit your dilution purpose. Some carrier oils are great for skin and massage, others are better for wrinkles and sensitive skin. Select a few that serve your multiple purposes. Keep them in a cool dark place, or maybe even refrigerate them for longer shelf life. If you have to store them in the kitchen, make sure you label them well, so nobody mistake them for cooking oils.
