This roll-on deodorant is a certified organic deodorant, enriched with 100% mineral Alum Stone, Aloe vera  as well as Rose and Orange Blossom hydrosols with natural effectiveness.

Alum, 100% natural, comes from the crystallization of natural mineral salts. These mineral salts are known to regulate perspiration throughout the day, acting as a natural barrier against sweating. Known as a natural astringent, it helps reduce the size of skin pores while preventing the formation of bacteria responsible for bad odors.

Free from propellant gas, alcohol, perfume, colorant, paraben, and aluminum chlorohydrate, this fresh jelly does not block perspiration, allowing the skin to breathe while remaining extremely soft. Suitable for both women and men, it can be used daily as an underarm deodorant. Does not leave marks on clothing.

A little history

The History of Alum Stone

📜 Antiquity (Egypt, Greece, Rome)

Egyptians were among the first to use alum (over 4,000 years ago). They used it in cosmetics, wound care, and water purification. There is evidence of its use as a deodorant because of its antibacterial and astringent qualities.

Ancient Greeks imported alum from Asia Minor and used it for both medicinal and cosmetic purposes. They valued its ability to tighten the skin and reduce odors.

Romans used alum widely in hygiene, especially for skin care and wound healing. Its ability to prevent odor-causing bacteria made it a natural solution for body freshness.

⛏️ Middle Ages

Alum became a traded commodity in Europe. It was used not only in textiles and tanning but also for personal hygiene. Its antibacterial qualities made it a trusted choice in a time when access to soap and regular bathing was limited.

🌍 Traditional Practices in Asia & the Middle East

In countries like India, alum (known as phitkari) has been used for centuries in Ayurveda as a natural deodorant and aftershave for its antiseptic effect.

In the Middle East, chunks of alum crystal were traditionally rubbed under the arms to reduce perspiration and body odor. This practice has been passed down for generations and is still common today.

🧴 Modern Revival (20th–21st Century)

As awareness of synthetic chemicals in cosmetics grew, alum stone re-emerged as a natural alternative to conventional deodorants.

Today, it is widely marketed in the form of sticks, roll-ons, and sprays, especially in certified organic and natural cosmetic ranges.

🌟 Why Alum Stone Was Adopted as a Deodorant

Antibacterial: Prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria.

Astringent: Tightens skin pores, reducing perspiration naturally.

Safe & Simple: Long-lasting mineral crystal, non-irritating, and chemical-free.
