Usage tips

Arthritis:
Mix 3 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage over the area of concern. Ginger oil's warming action and its pain reliving properties, help to soothe painful joints.

Bruises
Mix 2 drops with 1/2 teaspoon (2,5ml) of carrier oil, and gently massage over the bruise 2-3 times per day. Ginger's ability to improve blood circulation helps to speed up the healing of bruises.

Chills
Ginger oil is effective to warm chills and increase blood circulation. Mix 3 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage into the feet. Or dilute 4 drops in 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil and add to a warm bath.

Colds & Flu
Combat cold and flu symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat, and a build-up of phlegm in the chest area with ginger oil. Add 3 drops to a steam inhalation, or dilute 4 drops in 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil, and add to a warm bath. Soak for 10 minutes.

Increase your confidence
Diffuse 3 drops in an aroma diffuser or inhale regularly from the bottle, to open your heart and instill the feeling of self-confidence and self-esteem.

Digestion
Mix 3 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage into the abdomen. Ginger oil stimulates the secretion of digestive juices, helping to maintain a healthy digestive tract.

Mental fatigue
Mix 3 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage into the feet. You can also diffuse 3 drops in an aroma diffuser at home or the office to clear sluggish energy. Ginger oil has an invigorating effect on the senses and increases vitality and energy.

Fever
Diffuse 3 drops of ginger oil in an aroma diffuser, or add 3 drops to a large bowl of cold water and pat down the body. Ginger oil encourages sweating, which in turn helps to cool the body down.

To much gas
Mix 3 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage into the lower abdomen, to eliminate a build-up of gas from the body.

Menstrual cramps
Mix 3 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and massage into the lower abdomen. Ginger oil relieves menstrual cramps by easing spasms in the uterus.

Motion sickness
Calm an upset stomach and reduce dizziness and/or nausea with ginger oil. Mix 2 drops with 1/2 teaspoon (2,5ml) of carrier oil, and massage behind and just under the ears. You can also place 2 drops on a tissue, and inhale regularly when travelling.

Muscular aches & pains
Mix 4 drops with 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil, and massage over the area of concern, or add it to a warm bath. ginger oil provide relief from aching muscles and eases cramps in the muscles. Add 4 drops to a warm compress, and drape over the sore muscle for 10-20 minutes.

Sinusitis
Help clear mucus from the nasal passageways with ginger oil. Add 3 drops to a steam inhalation, or place 2 drops on a tissue, and inhale regularly throughout the day.

Sore throat
If you have a inflamed throat you can ease the pain and discomfort by adding 2 drops of ginger oil to a small amount of water, and gargle for 20-30 seconds. DO NOT SWOLLOW.

Varicose veins
Mix 3 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, and gently massage over the entire limb. Do not massage directly over varicose veins, always massage upwards in the direction of the heart. ginger oil stimulates the circulation, helping to speed up sluggish blood circulation around the body.

Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters), and emulsions (creams).

Insoluble in water, hydrosols, and aqueous gels. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case you must add 4 times more solubol than essential oil).

General Guidelines for Diffusing Around Pets:
  1. Diffusion Time: Limit diffusing sessions to 15-20 minutes.

  4. Observation: Always monitor pets for any signs of distress when diffusing essential oils.

Always use the essential oil diluted in vegetable oil or another suitable medium. Respect the recommended dosages.

Do not ingest. External use only.

Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, in children under 3 years of age, or in individuals with asthma or allergy to one of its components or under anticoagulant treatment.

Always test your preparation in the elbow crease 24 hours before use.
