Usage tips

Use it in a diffuser:
Bergamot cleans the atmosphere and creates a calm and good mood. Gives you a quick boost of energy.

Headache:
Put 6 drops of bergamot in a bowl of water, swish your cloth or washcloth in the bowl, wring it out, and put it on your forehead. Repeat when the cloth feels warm.

Coughs:
Bergamot is antispasmodic and can help calm coughs. Diffuse it or do a steam tent, or inhale directly from the bottle.

Restless leg syndrome:
Mix 15 drops in 30 ml of jojoba or other carrier oil and massage onto your legs. If you use it before bedtime, you might want to use a cream or gel (aloe vera) instead of oil.

Digestive issues:
Mix 10 drops of bergamot with jojoba oil or other carrier oil and massage on your belly. Relieves digestive discomfort such as excess gas.

Cleanse fruits & vegetables:
Bergamot is as good as lemon essential oil to cleanse fruits and veggies against pesticides, toxins, and things like salmonella. Add 3-4 drops of Bergamot to 2 liter of water (1-2 drops to a liter) leave the fruits/veggies in for some minutes and then rinse.

Anti-depressant:
Bergamot is a happy scent and is great for emotional support. Make a diffuser blend when you feel the blues:
3 drops bergamot
1 drop lavender
2 drops ylang ylang

Use: Food flavoring (FEMA n°: 2153 / CoE n°: 137n)
Indicative dosage for 100 grams of culinary preparation : 1 to 2 drops are enough to flavor your preparations: sweets, cakes, exotic dishes, etc.

Always use essential oil diluted in a suitable medium (example: vegetable oil, honey, etc.)

Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and creams (emulsions).

Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case you must add 4 times more solubol than essential oil).

General Guidelines for Diffusing Around Pets:
  1. Diffusion Time: Limit diffusing sessions to 15-20 minutes.
  2. When trying a new essential oil, use 1-2 drops (in the diffuser) and observe how your dog or cat reacts.
  3. Ventilation: Keep the area well-ventilated.
  4. Observation: Always monitor pets for any signs of distress when diffusing essential oils.
