Usage tips

Relieve Congestion
Eucalyptus Radiata is gentle on the respiratory system, making it ideal for steam inhalation, especially for children, the elderly, and those with sensitive airways. Add a few drops to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, and inhale the soothing steam for 5-10 minutes to help clear sinuses and relieve congestion.

Muscle Pain Relief
Eucalyptus Radiata is excellent for relieving muscle and joint pain, particularly for those with sensitive skin. Mix 10 drops with 2 tablespoons of a carrier oil like coconut or almond oil, and gently massage into the affected areas for a soothing, anti-inflammatory effect.

Insect Repellent
The milder scent of Eucalyptus Radiata still effectively repels insects while being gentle on the skin. Mix 10 drops with 2 tablespoons of witch hazel or water in a spray bottle and apply to exposed skin, or spray around windows and doors to keep bugs at bay without irritating sensitive skin.

Dandruff Treatment
Eucalyptus Radiata is a great choice for treating dandruff, especially for those with sensitive scalps. Add 5-10 drops to your regular shampoo to benefit from its antifungal properties while enjoying a milder, soothing cleanse.

Cold Sore Relief
With its gentle nature, Eucalyptus Radiata can be applied to cold sores without causing excessive dryness or irritation. Dilute 1-2 drops with a teaspoon of coconut oil and apply directly to the cold sore. Repeat 2-3 times daily for effective relief.

Air Freshener
Use Eucalyptus Radiata to naturally freshen the air in your home. Its mild, uplifting scent is perfect for creating a clean, refreshing atmosphere without overwhelming the senses. Add 10-15 drops to a spray bottle filled with water and spritz around your living spaces.

Foot Soak for Tired Feet
Eucalyptus Radiata provides a gentle, refreshing soak for tired and achy feet, ideal for those with sensitive or dry skin. Add 10 drops to a basin of warm water along with 1/2 cup of Epsom salts, and soak your feet for 15-20 minutes to relieve swelling and refresh your feet.

Headache Relief
For a soothing headache remedy, Eucalyptus Radiata is ideal due to its milder aroma. Dilute 3-4 drops with a teaspoon of carrier oil and gently massage into your temples and the back of your neck. Its cooling and calming effect can help alleviate tension headaches without overwhelming your senses.

Sunburned skin
Eucalyptus helps skin heal faster, so it is useful for treating sunburns and rashes. Blend 30 drops of eucalyptus in 120 ml Aloe Vera Gel. Use just enough to lightly coat the area of concern.

Diffuse
Use it in your diffuser and feel how it refreshes and increases concentration.

Fever
To control fevers, mix 15 drops of eucalyptus essential oil with 5 drops of peppermint essential oil. Fill up a small spray bottle with water (150-200 ml). Shake well and lightly mist your body every 1 to 2 hours until the temperature returns to normal.

Household cleaners
Thanks to eucalyptus oils' antibacterial, antiviral, and antiseptic properties, it makes an effective household cleaner.
Fill a spray bottle (500ml) with warm water and put 15 drops of eucalyptus and 15 drops of lemon or lime in the bottle. Shake well and spray on surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, or wherever you are cleaning. Cleaning has never been so invigorating!

Immune system
Eucalyptus oil acts as a tonic for the body, protecting it from illness by boosting and strengthening the immune system. Mix 5 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of jojoba oil or other carrier oil of your choice, and massage into the feet and heels.

A little history

The first documented medicinal use of Eucalyptus radiata dates back to indigenous Australian practices, where the Aboriginal people harnessed the plant’s healing properties for centuries. They crushed fresh eucalyptus leaves to inhale their scent or used them in poultices to soothe wounds, reduce fevers, and ease respiratory issues. The unique cooling and cleansing properties of Eucalyptus radiata caught the attention of European settlers in the 18th and 19th centuries, who observed its effectiveness in traditional treatments. Soon after, eucalyptus oil became an essential export, especially valued in Europe and North America as a natural remedy for respiratory discomfort and skin infections. Its gentle but powerful aroma distinguished Eucalyptus radiata as an ideal choice, paving the way for its use in modern aromatherapy and natural health care.
