Usage tips

🌿 Excessive sweating of the feet
Since Cypress is both deodorant and astringent and reduces both the amount of perspiration and unpleasant odor, use it in a footbath as needed. Add 3-5 drops to your footbath.

🌿 Insect repellent
During daytime, when you need to keep insects at bay; mix it with lavender in a carrier oil and massage on your skin (3 drops cypress and 3 drops lavender in 15ml/1 tablespoon of carrier oil), or fill a small spray bottle (15ml) with lavandin/lavender hydrosol and add 6 drops of Cypress essential oil. Shake well before spraying over your body.

🌿 Antispasmodic agent
Diffuse 4 drops or inhale from a tissue or inhaler, 2 drops. Cypress helps to relieve respiratory conditions such as asthma and bronchitis.

🌿 Edema and fluid retention
Cypress oil is diuretic, so use this oil to flush out internal toxins. Apply it topically in a carrier oil to your wrist, the back of your neck, abdomen and the soles of your feet. Use a roll-on bottle: 4-5 drops in 10ml carrier oil.

🌿 Helps with hemorrhoids
An effective oil for reducing and preventing hemorrhoids. Apply 3-4 drops with a cotton ball. Use a sitz bath; dilute 5 drops in 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil, and add to a warm sitz bath. Soak for 20 minutes. Repeat 3-4 times a week.

🌿 First signs of a cold or sore throat
A very effective method is to dilute 1 drop of cypress essential oil in 1 drop of carrier oil and apply it on your throat. Repeat several times and feel the soreness go away.

🌿 Bleeding gums
Place 2 drops in a small glass of water, and use as a mouth rinse. Cypress oil helps to slow down the flow of excessive bleeding. Do not swallow!

🌿 Hot flashes
With its soothing and cooling properties cypress oil can hel to balance the female reproductive system. Beneficial to treat menopause. Blend 5 drops of the oil in 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil, and add to a warm bath or apply topically to your abdomen, chest and lower back area. You can also diffuse 5 drops to cool the body down, or spray yourself with Cypress hydrosol.

🌿 Excessive Perspiration
Add 1–2 drops to a small bowl of water (cool or warm) and use as a natural deodorizing foot or body rinse.
Mix 2 drops with a teaspoon of aloe vera gel and apply to underarms or feet for a refreshing effect.
Diffuse 5–6 drops in a room diffuser to help reduce excessive sweating due to stress or heat.

🌿 Astringent & Detoxifying – Reducing Pore Size & Regulating Oil Production
Mix 1 drop of Cypress essential oil with a teaspoon of jojoba oil and apply to the face as a balancing serum.
Add 2 drops to a clay mask to tighten pores and absorb excess oil.
Combine 1–2 drops with witch hazel and use as a natural facial toner.

🌿 Cellulite
Blend 5 drops with a tablespoon of carrier oil (such as sweet almond or grapeseed) and massage into affected areas to support circulation and lymphatic drainage.
Add 8–10 drops to a warm bath with Epsom salts for a detoxifying soak.
Mix with cedarwood, grapefruit, or juniper essential oils for an enhanced firming and toning effect.

🌿 Respiratory Conditions, Dry Coughs & Bronchial Spasms
Add 3–4 drops to a bowl of steaming water and inhale deeply for a few minutes to help ease congestion and calm dry coughs.
Dilute 2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil and massage onto the chest and back to promote easier breathing.
Diffuse 5–6 drops in a room diffuser to help clear airways and create a fresh, calming atmosphere.

Food flavoring (CoE no.: 162n)
Food dosage : 1 drop in a dish for 5 people (never exceed 2%)
- Always use essential oil diluted in a suitable carrier (e.g. vegetable oil, honey, etc.)

- Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and creams (emulsions).

- Insoluble in water. However, it is possible to use it in a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with

- Solubol (in this case, you must put 4 times more Solubol than essential oil).

General Guidelines for Diffusing Around Pets:
  1. Diffusion Time: Limit diffusing sessions to 15-20 minutes.
  2. When trying a new essential oil, use 1-2 drops (in the diffuser) and observe how your dog or cat reacts.
  3. Ventilation: Keep the area well-ventilated.
  4. Observation: Always monitor pets for any signs of distress when diffusing essential oils.
