O coentro é uma planta nativa do Oriente Próximo, cujas folhas lembram as da salsa. Esta planta com flores roxas em forma de guarda-chuva produz pequenos frutos esféricos usados como temperos na Índia e no Oriente Médio. Também chamada de “salsa árabe” ou “salsa chinesa”, sua folha é muito utilizada na culinária mexicana, indiana, vietnamita e tailandesa. Na aromaterapia, é utilizado principalmente o óleo essencial dos frutos secos maduros, sendo o da folha muito irritante (devido ao seu conteúdo de 2 decenais) e o dos frutos imaturos com mau cheiro.

Anorexia Nervosa
Coriander oil can be beneficial in addressing anorexia nervosa by stimulating the appetite. Combine 4 drops with 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil, then gently massage the mixture into the abdomen in a clockwise direction.
Athlete's Foot
Combine 3 drops with a teaspoon of coconut oil, then apply the mixture to the infection, ensuring to massage between the toes. The exceptional fungicidal properties of coriander oil aid in eliminating the fungus responsible for athlete's foot.
Use: Food flavoring (FEMA n°: 2334 / CoE n°: 154n)
Food dosage: 1 drop in a dish for 5 people (never exceed 2%)
Always use essential oil diluted in a suitable medium (e.g. vegetable oil, honey, etc.)
Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters), and creams (emulsions).
Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case you must add 4 times more solubol than essential oil).
